Celhyndrael's Journey Part 3

 I have had been busy those last few days, but I feel like I have not accomplished much. Mostly I set upon doing something then something shimmers on the side and I get distracted.

It reminds me of this Dunkey video that always make my day with the yakuza. 

Anyway, I have finally married Muiri! We have tied the knot forever in front of Mara (or as long as I do not find another husband/wife). I need to change her dress somehow...

I managed to install the mod to enable achievements while using mods so, while I do not wish to cheat, I might at least be able to improve graphics. For now I am only using a mod to fix  broken stuff. I really need to get rid of my amulets of Talos. To be fair I have not yet tried reverse pickpocketing to leave it in her pocket.

So while I have been seriously distracted on my path of vengeance (Mercer, I have an arrow with your name on it... okay it will take more than one), I have finally become a Nightingale. I liked my thief outfit so much I did not change it when I joined the Brotherhood, but I am dressing the part now!

I ran into another property by chance, followed the 'hair' and I now own Myrwatch. It's actually a nice house, I did like it. And as much as I like the Lakeview Manor the constant attacks have made a victim: my one and only chicken there is a goner. Funny how all my chicken, goats and my cow survive in Golden Plantation without a problem. I do not dare having a horse, it might not survive the bandits.

I thought I was doing a lot of money as a thief? Alchemist beats it, hands down, and its not illegal. I made so many potions I have 100+ in a satchel waiting for my fences to have more money. Oh no wait it's the other way around, I need to make more thieving for that. Like I said, distracted. I only have 4 fences so far so I travel quite a lot.

Current projects are to finish furnishing the Lakeview Manor (I am making progress), to find Mercer. Oh and the Horn for the main quest, I am doing this one at a snail pace.

Celhyndrael's Journey Part 2

 I really wanted to get the Lakeview Manor plot to build my house. 

Here is how my visit to the Jarl of Falkreath went:

- I heard you are a new, is it difficult for you to be Jarl?

- My uncle was getting old and stepped down...

- He actually told me the nobles were paid by the Empire and forced him to 'retire' so you could take his place.

- ... well he now serves the town as Thane. As for it being difficult, I eat the best meals and I spend my time hunting, my steward takes care of the town, it's easy!

- Right... so, can I help you with anything?

- Indeed! I used to deal with bandits but since they decided to stop paying me, I want you to kill them.

- ... you are lucky I really want that house...

- To sweeten the pot, if you also help 3 of my subjects I will make you Thane and give you an housecarl.

- ... you are still a piece of... work.

So here it is, I am now working day and night to build my house by the lake! By day I found a nice woman who lets me cut lumber for free, and by night I 'acquire' iron ingots and glass from sleeping merchants. Gotta love being a thief~

I also just joined the Brotherhood since I would like to woo Muiri. Which means murder... 

But without mods she is the only choice since I don't like Aela and do not feel like becoming a werewolf at the moment, although Harlan from Solstheim... 

Why can't I just marry Karita?!

- Winterun's Breezehome house [fully furnished]
- Riften's Honeyside house [fully furnished]
- Goldenhills Plantation [only missing the alchemist and enchanting stations]
- The Dead Man's Dread pirate ship [I am disappointed, you cannot renovate but it is still a nice ship]
- Shadowfoot Sanctum
- Lakeview Manor [... work in progress, 2 wings done with greenhouse and the alchemy tower]

I had adopted Sofie from Windhelm, she broke my heart when I stumbled on her sleeping in the street as it snowed. I asked her to go to the thief hideout but she did not move from Windhelm until I got Lakeview Manor somewhat furnished.

 There she scared me to death when I walked in and she ran from the back of the house to greet me... I guess she did not like the idea to live underground next to the guild of thieves and vermin. But hey I got attacked by bandits and a dragon already, so good thing I got the housecarl and a steward to protect the kid! Now to adopt another... Lucia or Alesan?

Celhyndrael's Journey Part 1

 A week ago my partner taunted me (okay, it did not take much taunting on his part, just showing me a video) and this time I am the one playing Skyrim, the 10th Anniversary Edition on PC. He had been playing it in 2014 on PS3, or so my old post says.

So far I am proud to say I have become a succesful thief *coughs*

Sneaking around and visiting shops late at night is actually an amazing way to not only level but also to make money. And it's fun!

So far I am the proud owner of quite a few properties as well:

- Winterun's Breezehome house [fully furnished]

- Riften's Honeyside house [almost fully furnished]

- Goldenhills Plantation [... it's a work in progress but I got Marcurio as steward and two farmhands! And I have finally found how to build that barn...]

- The Dead Man's Dread pirate ship 😍

I acquired this last one last night, I just received the letter so it might take me a while to get it up and running. I think I might finally have found a place for my orphans. Which kid would not have fun on a pirate ship?!!

That might keep me busy for a while!

Skyrim 10th Anniversary Edition - Here is to a new beginning!

 Greetings travellers!

I am in no way one of the most knowledgeable person when it comes to the world of Skyrim. I originally did not play it much or even for long on PS3, and I have only been back into it a few weeks now, this time on computer. Compared to all of those who have been playing it for years, I am but discovering many of the features I never got to experience the first time.

And the bugs. Oh the bugs... Even though I have added the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, there are still things happening that have left me baffled and looking for answers for quite a while. I will try to list here whatever fix I found, it may help others looking for it even nowadays.

 And who knows? Maybe I will get some people entertained! After all, I spend most of my time helping people while stealing from them while they are asleep. It's okay, they still like me. Mostly. I think I just upset Maven.
